With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Coleman Jr. of Vernon Center, New York, born in Oneida, New York, who passed away on May 21, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Coleman Sr. and Elizabeth Towsley Coleman; his former wife Mary Ellen Perry; and his son John Charles Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Connie Coleman (Jim Brackett) of Madison, Richard Coleman of Madison, Dawn Olmstead (Eric) of Waterville, Elaine Earley of Madison and Henry Coleman (Amy) of Madison; and his sisters, Jane King of Oneida, Ruth O'Brien (Richard) of Cicero and Helen Hoffman (David) of Holland Patent. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
