He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Smith and Eugenia Smith (Derfuss). He is survived by: his wife Jean A. Smith (West); his children, Todd F. Smith, Michele, Betsy Hull (Smith), Stacie (Smith) and Arthur Wood; his grandchildren, Kiera L. (Smith), Ben Donaghy, Kaitlinn (Hull), Matthew Kimball, Rachel Smith, Levi, Ryan Hull, Alanna, Erin Smith, E. J., Hunter Smith, Vanessa, Tristan Wood, Colin Wood and Nolan Wood; and his siblings, Deanna Side, Eugenia "Jeanie" Walters and Lewis Smith. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
