With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John E. Sawtelle Sr. of Verbank, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Sawtelle and Ida Davis Sawtelle. He is survived by: his children, John Sawtelle Jr. of Cornwall Bridge, Kristi Domin (Stanley) of Pleasant Valley and Scott Sawtelle (Diane) of Hanson, Massachusetts; and his grandchildren, Sonia, Jessica, Ryan and Ashley. He is also survived by his 6 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in John's memory to a charity of choice.
