He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Volney R. Spencer, Sr. of Attica and Ethel Flint Spencer; his wife Sharon Schwedt Spencer; his sons, Josh Spencer (Shirley), Aaron Spencer (late Emily) and Evan Spencer; his grandchildren, Tyler and McKayla; his siblings, Peg Cox (Roland), Jim Spencer (Alfie), Betty Raponi, Deb Head (Tim) and Barb Jamalkowski; his mother-in-law Irene Pawlak Schwedt (late Roger); and his brother-in-law Alan Schwedt (Robin). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
