With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Elizabeth Mucha of Varysburg, New York, born in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Dexter and Catherine Veronica Gossman Alves; her stepparents, Gertrude W. Dexter and Manuel Alves; her husband Theodore J. Mucha; and her siblings, Robert H. Dexter, Jane M. Dexter Burd Chun and Edward L. Dexter.
She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Kaney (Jim) of Varysburg, NY, Thomas C. Mucha (Jeannie) of Martinsburg, WV, Cynthia M Satterfield (Dave) of Frederick, MD and Elizabeth A. Kinsella (John) of Fuquay-Varina, NC.; her sister Nancy A. Dexter Rowley of New Bedford, MA; and her grandchildren, Katie Geller (Steve), Michael Kaney, Sara Mucha (Sean McCarthy), Matthew Mucha, Eric Satterfield (Deborah Lee), Laura Kesner (Craig), Clare Kinsella, Amy Kinsella and Steven Kinsella (Becca Collins). She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
