He is survived by: his parent Helen L. Wood (Warrick); his wife Jane Wood (Abbey); his children, Deborah Fowler of Kansas, Tammy Schiewe (Tim) of Texas, Suzanne Peterle (Mark) of Kansas, Amy Ray (Tony) of California, James Wood (Dianne) of Hector and Timothy Wood (Trina) of Burdett; his stepsons, Larry Grant of Campbell, Bill Grant (Kathy) of Burdett and Christopher Grant (Shana) of Himrod; his siblings, Audrey Fleegle of Texas, Sally Steffen (James) of Virginia, David Wood (Betty) of Binghamton, Floyd Wood (Judy) of Pennsylvania and Raymond Anderson (Sandra); and his grandson Jonathan. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
