He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne; his children, Cathy Gerrato (Carl), Richard IV and Joseph (Michele); his grandchildren, Brian Gerrato (Taralena), Jennifer Laffey (Anthony), Kathleen Gerrato, Erin Segovia (Boris) and Robert Gerrato; his great grandchildren, Giovanni, Anthony, Marco, Lena, Vincent, Nicolette and Mia; his sister Barbara Pupa; his nephew Scott Pupa (Diane); and his niece Lori Mauro (Michael).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to NYLEAP (New York Law Enforcement Assistance Program) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
