She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Higgins; and her husband James Patrick McGovern. She is survived by: her mother Rosella Higgins Keeley; her children, James McGovern (Gina) of Merrick, NY, John McGovern of New York, NY, Jean McGovern Klem (Joseph Klem) of Arlington, VA, Gerard McGovern of Boynton Beach, FL, Janice McGovern of Medford, NY and Joseph McGovern of Bay Shore, NY; and her grandchildren, Terence, Allison, Stephen, Timothy, Dillon and Brianna. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
