She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Worrall (Nafis) and William S. Worrall; and her husband Bert C. Merkel. She is survived by: her children, Bob Merkel of Ouaquaga, NY, Bonnie (Glenn Rider), Tom (Lorraine Merkel) and Terri (Carl Niles). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
