It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avelino Rivera of Valley Stream, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ysaias Rivera and Flora Vazquez; and his son Frank. He is survived by: his wife Myriam; his sister Blanca; his children, Albert, Joel and Annabelle Myriam Yvette (Myriam); his grandchildren, Carmen (Frank), Yolanda (Frank), Albert Daniel (Albert), William (Frank), Amanda (Annabelle), Jonathan (Annabelle), Marc Alexander (Albert), Danielle Marie (Albert), David (Annabelle), Isaiah (Myriam) and Victor (Joel); his children-in-law, Rebecca (Frank), Maribel (Albert), Caroline (Joel) and David (Annabelle); his great grandchildren, Alexander, Roger, Angelina, Gabriel (Albert Daniel) and Kaylee (Amanda); and his goddaughter Vanessa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
