He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John L. Moore and Eva Moore (Kalbfliesh) of Valley Falls; his sister Emily E. Moore of Austin, Texas.; and his grandfathers, Kenneth Moore and Valentine "Chic" Kalbfliesh.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Gene Haas Scholarship at Hudson Valley Community College to benefit a student entering the machinist program in loving memory of Matthew Alexander Moore.
