Harold J. Carknard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold J. Carknard of Valley Falls, New York, who passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Carknard and Margaret Ann Carknard (Smith); his girlfriend Sandra Gethins; and his siblings, Ricky and Betty Ann Carknard.

He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Carknard (Tegan) of Mechanicville and Jeremy Carknard (Ashleigh) of Troy; his grandchildren, Maxwell, Jack Carknard and Emily Prouty; the mother of his children Melissa Carknard; and his sisters, Lisa Gage, April Vorce (James) and Constance Carknard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Societyin memory of Jake Carknard.
