It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George P. Failing II of Valley Falls, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Failing (Cook). He is survived by: his father Neil Failing of Fort Plain; his close friend Winnona Brust of Valley Falls; his children, George III Failing (Nicole), Kory Failing, Michael Shostek, Gary Brust and Stephanie Brust; his grandchildren, Payton Failing and Wyatt Jackson; and his siblings, Neil Failing (Darlene), David Failing (Melissa) and Christina Lippman (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
