He was predeceased by: his sister Eileen Higgins; and his parents, Anne Higgins and Thomas Higgins. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas (Amy) and Colin (April); his grandchildren, Emma, Aidan, Shane, Owen and Gavin; his sisters, Anne Petz, Maureen Higgins and Kathy Ashford; and his wife Kathleen Dolan (Dolan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
