He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Robert Jessen; his parents, Hans Jessen and Mae Jessen (Walton); his siblings, Richard Jessen and Dorothy "Dotti" Fischer (Jessen); his daughter Irene Katz (Jessen); the mother of his children Irene Jessen; his daughter Laura Mae Jessen; his grandchildren, Mira Rose (Katz), Elijah Thomas Grady, Ayla Whalen (Grady), Michaela Alohi Grady and Gabriel "Thor" Small; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Rose Katz, Ashley Rose, Dameon Frye, Violet Rose and Bellatrix Whalen. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
