She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Florence Amelia Caffrey; her daughters, Hillary (John), Amalie and Elizabeth (Larry); her grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren, Justine and Paul; her husband Bill; her son Edmund; and her brothers, Charlie and Donald. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Columbia law school in honor of her late brother, August Charles Nimphius jr.
