It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan R. Malara of Valhalla, New York, born in New York, New York, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Culhane and Anna Culhane; and her siblings, John and Rosemary. She is survived by: her sister Barbara; her children, Mary Ellen (Barry), Michael (Kathleen) and Joan Marie; her grandchildren, Alex (Megan), Leanne (James), Johnna (Ernesto) and Stefanie (Pat); and her great grandchildren, Sabrina, Miro, James, Milania, Ronan, Weston, Zoë and Ani. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Finally, in lieu of flowers, the Family asks that you make a donation in Joan's name to your favorite charity.
