Richard H. Ludington Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard H. Ludington of Valatie, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard H. Ludington to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ludington and Marie; his wife Dona Williams Ludington; his sister Delores Hausler; and his brother-in-law Robert Hausler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Balthazard (Wayne) and Ruth Huber (Jim); and his grandchildren, Rebecca (Ray), Danial, Jacqueline (Bart) and James (Stephanie). He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wenk Funeral Home (21 Payn Ave, Chatham, NY 12037). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Spencertown Fire Department or The Adirondack Museum on Blue Mountain Lake.
