It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Benbow of Utica, New York, born in Summerton, South Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Benbow and Charlotte Benbow (Levy); and his siblings, Ada Levy, Willar Mae Lemon, Irene Sabb, Maggie Mae Baker, Moses Benbow, Elijah Benbow and Abraham Benbow.
He is survived by: his sisters, Agnes Smith and Roberta Cubbage McCray.
