It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William R. Whitney (Utica, New York), born in New Hartford, New York, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Whitney and Elizabeth Whitney (Withers); and his sister Maribeth White. He is survived by: his wife Fran; his daughter Alexandria "Allie" Whitney (Olin Sanders); his granddaughter Aurora; his siblings, Jackie Johnson (Christopher) and Bob Whitney (Sue); his mother-in-law Cathy Giruzzi; and his in-laws, Philomena Coyne (Dennis), Anthony Giruzzi III, Rich Mrowka and Tom Scholl. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
