He was predeceased by: his parent Walkery Sr. Mills; his parents-in-law, David and Annia Lee Lacy; his brothers-in-law, David Lacy, James Lacy, Henry Lacy, Fred Lacy and Nathaniel of Washington; and his siblings, Willie Fred Mills (Betty Jean), Ray Lee Mills, Carrie Bell (George White), Mary Alice (Charles Morrison), Gussie Lee (Johnny Hooks) and Eloise Lovett.
He is survived by: his sons, David E. Mills (Kimberly Murray) and Walkery Mills III; his grandchildren, Walkery Mills IV (Sarah Mills), Maurice Mills (Sierra Speed), Mason Mills and Jacob David Mills; his great grandchildren, Jada Mills, Malakhi Mills, MaKinsley Mills, Mikah Mills, Makhoi Mills, Mya Mills and Walkery Mills V.; his sister Cynthia Diane of Washington; his extended family, Anthony Mills Sr. and Tarita Mills; his nephews, Norris Lacy Sr., Frank Lovett, Derell Lovett and Fred Lacy Jr.; his niece Anna Lee Lacy; and his siblings-in-law, John, Mary Lacy and Aida Santiago.
