It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vincent P. Speciale of Utica, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Donna L. Giehl; his sister Carmella Alder (Don); his grandson Kevin Giehl Jr.; and his nephews, Aaron Speciale and Robert Hughes.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly VanEtten and Kevin Giehl; his grandsons, Tyler VanEtten and Matthew Giehl; his sister Marie; his brother-in-law Bill Hughes; his brother Harry; his sisters-in-law, Carol Speciale and Mary Zegibe; his uncle Dominick "Doc" Speciale; his aunt Angeline DeMichele; and his close friends, Mary Ann Collea, Joe Scaglione, Doc Vico and Tom Stein. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
