It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vincent J. Looney of Utica, New York, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Looney and Mary Frances Looney (Burke); his cousin Larry Tafe of Cape Cod; his sister Marian; and his brother-in-law John "Brendan" Cahalane.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Mazzola; his cousin Ursala; his grandchildren, Shaun and Michele Looney (Smith); and his brother Bill Looney. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.

Those planning to attend Mass are asked to arrive earlier to accommodate social distancing and registration for contact tracing.
