He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dineen and Edna Dineen (Dingivan); his wife Victoria Biamonte Griffin; his son Thomas Dineen; and his siblings, William Dineen, Mary Mase, Margaret Haile, Lillian Baker, Alice Dechane, Eleanor Baker, Frank Dineen and Marion McKenna.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Liana and Colin Dineen of Rotterdam, NY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
