It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Giacovelli Kalies (Utica, New York), who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Butch" Giacovelli and Sandra M. "Sandy" Kalies (Belgrano). He is survived by: his daughters, Jenelle M. (John Hammill) and Breanna D. Kalies (Max Darman); his grandchildren, Alexander Hammill, Delaney and Madeline Hammill; and his siblings, Jeffrey Kalies, Hannah Gage, Cynthia Kalies-Lazzaro (Thomas), Gregory Giacovelli, Michael Barnum, Janet Giacovelli, Nicholas Albertine, Regina Westcott, Margaret Voultsios, Rebecka O'Donovan (Kevin O'Donnell), Francine "Fran", James Oliver, Joanne Giacovelli and Veronica Giacovelli. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, will miss Uncle.
