He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Combellack and Helen Nash Combellack; and his sisters, Carol Ann Cook and Joan Beecher. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Carlson; his sons, Shawn Thomas Combellack and Erick James Combellack; his brother Butch; and his sister-in-law Judy Combellack.
