We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2023, at the age of 80, Thomas A. Bogaert Sr. (Utica, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert T. Bogaert and Christine Bogaert (Chaney); and his siblings, George, Nancy, Janet and Margaret.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy A. Steppello; his children, Thomas, Deborah Bogaert, Michelle Harloff (Mark) and Brittany Hays (Joshua); his grandchildren, Ginger Frederick (Scott), Donald Watson, Jr. (Emily), Thomas (Bogaert III), Addison Bogaert, Cole Hays and Callie Hays; his great grandchildren, Kaylynn, Benjamin, Andrew and Callen; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Bogaert and Renee Rumbutis; his great-nephews, Aiden and Caleb Miller; his friends, Joe, Hank, George, Terry and Browne; and also, Erin Rumbutis (Chris Miller) and Pat.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Tom's name may be made to New York Mills Sportsman Association, an organization that Tom held close to his heart.
