He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Murphy and Katherine Murphy (Petty); his brother-in-law Thomas Demme; and his mother-in-law Carmella Demme. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Demme; his children, Mary (Tim Potter) and Patrick (Trish Murphy); his stepchildren, Anthony, Ann Bestany, Christie and William Keiser; his grandchildren, Brady, Camryn, Rory, Penelope, Piper, Simon, Michael, William III and Vincent; his sisters, Carol Philo and Katherine Mead; and his brother-in-law Joseph Demme.
