With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Cannistra of Utica, New York, who passed away on July 29, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dominick "Babe" and Elvira "Mollie" Arcuri (Tutino); her husband Jim; her sons, James "Jim" (Veena Cannistra), David Cannistra, Dan (Julie Cannistra) and Matthew J. Cannistra; her grandchildren, Sarah, Sharon, Daniel, Molly (Brian Szmak), Ethan, Jake, Zachary and Michael; and her daughters-in-law, Mary Kate Bland, Jayne Gilbert and Justine Coffey.
