It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel J. Catrombone Sr. (Utica, New York), who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Catrombone and Elizabeth Catrombone (Cavallaro). He is survived by: his children, Regina Rickert, Joanne (Catrombone), Samuel, Jr. and Robert Catrombone (Christine); his grandchildren, Jason Rozycki (Nereida), Erik Rickert (Laura), Brian Holtslag, Brandon Holtslag (Krista), Bradee Holtslag (Lisha), Justin DiGiorgio, Julianne DiGiorgio, Corine Catrombone, Rob, Jr. and Brianna Catrombone; and his siblings, Rosemary and Bob. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors (470 French Rd, Utica, NY 13502).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Samuel's name may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church, 16 Park Ave, Whitesboro, NY 13492.
