Salvatore Borruso Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore Borruso Sr. (Utica, New York), born in Rome, New York, who passed away on April 10, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Borruso and Rose Guidera Borruso; and his siblings, Anthony "Tony", Leonard, Joseph, Carmen, James Borruso, Josephine "Nina" Morrison and Patricia Gaetano.
He is survived by: his daughter Rose Marie; his son-in-law Carl Bothner of Rochester; his son Salvatore S. Jr.; his daughter-in-law Melissa Borruso of Utica; his grandchildren, Dominique, Salvatore, Matteo Borruso, Alexandra and Sarah Bothner; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Frances Borruso of Utica. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will honor Sal in a private ceremony with the Rev. Fr. James Cesta officiating.
