Curtis of Utica, New York, born in New Castle, Alabama, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Sanders of Utica and Evita Green of Utica; her siblings, Thomas Curtis (Albany), Greg Curtis (Miami), Vincent Curtis (California), Norman Wilson (Jennifer) of Utica, Eugene Curtis, Barbara Curtis (Maryland), Brenda Hawkins (Maryland), Sabrina McBride (Florida) and Nicole Toles (Utica); her grandson Maalik Jarice Spann Gilemore; her aunt Betty McBride; her nieces and nephews, Shawntae, MyKayla, Amber, Malania, Chiquitha, Maya, Aleeyah, Ashley, Kelly, DeShanna, Aaliyah, Michael Jr., Phillip, Marcus, Greg Jr., Jonas, Ché, Isaiah, Alonzo, Durrell, Bryan, Zyire, Zai Jain and Angel; her close friends, Vincent Green and Mary Ross; and her goddaughters, Tanya McFarland and Nigeria (Jury Duty).

“I have known Ruth Cuurtis for years I knew her from Conmed. I worked with ruthy in the molding room with wade Brown for years me. and my husband Robert Hebert. Me and Ruthy also took karate lessions at baliys school in Herkimer N.Y. Plus we would go out to dinner at Friendlys for turkey dinners all the time. I would also see Ruthy at walmat in utica n.y She stocked the shelfs at night and I would be dong my shoping for food. I am so sorry for your loss Carole and Robert Hebert”
