She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard A. Gilbert and Mabel Stewart Gilbert; and her brother-in-law Donald Hannahs of Remsen. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Cady (George) of Fayetteville, NY, Howard Gilbert (Erma) of Barneveld, NY and Gail Hannahs of Remsen, NY; and her friend Bertie Schader. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Donations can be made in her name to a charity of one's choice.
