He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Marangi and Rose Marangi (Saladina); and his brothers, Victor, Louis, Jerry and John Marangi.
He is survived by: his wife Joanna E. Gelfuso of Anthony's Church; his children, Gina Cecere (William III) of Buffalo, NY and Dominic (Lisa Marangi); and his grandchildren, William IV, Lauren, Rudy, Dominic, Lindsey, Lesley, Elena and Alex.
