She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Robert Inserra and Vincenza Inserra (Rescino); her brothers-in-law, Gary J. Matt Sr. and Robert W. Matt; and her mother-in-law Virginia Matt (Haley).

She is survived by: her husband James E. Matt (Jim); her son Brian (Bryan Fairbrother); her grandchild Alycia Magee (Sean); her great grandchildren, James S. Magee and Izabelle R. Magee; her sister Lucille Matt (Inserra); her siblings-in-law, John A. Matt Jr. (Maureen) and Dolores Matt; her nephew Craig A. Matt (Ashleigh); her great-niece Aurora; her nephews, John A. Matt III (Kimbery), Michael J. Matt (Paul Batista), Gary J. Matt Jr. (Katie) and Sean Matt; her niece Patricia Otis (Jeff); her aunt Connie Inserra; and her cousins, Francis, Patricia Inserra, Elaine Paynter and Carol Cannerelli.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. (932 South St, Utica, NY 13501). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of Our Savior Parish (2222 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502).

Memorial contributions in Rosemary's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online at http://www.stjude.org.; envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
