He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Gumbs and Congetta Gumbs (Bernardi); his godparent Til Cucci; his niece Sharon Ann Eddy; and his friends, Vincent Barnaba and Anthony Papale.
He is survived by: his daughter Gwenn Anne; his son-in-law Todd Claytor; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Carla Jerome; his grandchildren, Merideth, Holly, Grant, Julette, Virginia, Lia and Max; his sister Cindy; his brother-in-law Joseph Gentile; his brother Patrick; his sister-in-law Rosemary Gumbs; his sister Annette "Cookie"; his brother-in-law Louis Eddy; and his godmother Marie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
In lieu of floral offerings, memorial contributions in Ronald's honor may be made to St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church, 422 Tilden Ave., Utica, NY 13501; envelopes will also be available at the service.
