It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rocco Giruzzi Jr. (Utica, New York), who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco F. Sr. Giruzzi and Carmella Giruzzi (Mancuso); his son Nicholas F. Giruzzi; his parents-in-law, Moses, Helen Hobaica (George), Bruno Arcuri, Robert Hobaica, Elaine Schwenzfeier and Al Cordovani; and his nephew Michael J. Arcuri.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hobaica; his children, Rocco Giruzzi III (Laura) of Rochester, Pamela Zegarelli of Marcy and William "Billy" Giruzzi (Lisa) of Albany; his grandchildren, Dr. Nicholas Giruzzi (Megan Giruzzi), Christopher Giruzzi, Zachary Zegarelli and Dr. Carly Zegarelli; his great grandchild Alayna Giruzzi; his sister Kathleen "Kay" Arcuri; his siblings-in-law, Doris Hobaica, Nancy Cordovani and Fred Schwenzfeier; and also Frank Zegarelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
All attendees must wear face masks, social distance and sign attendance sheets.
