She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosea Mims and Henrietta Mims; her husband Henry Allen; her daughter Latriece Allen; and her siblings, Rosalind Smith, Hosea Mims Jr., Carleton (Douglas), Renee, Loretta and Dorinda.
She is survived by: her children, Naomi Arndt (Ed Arndt) and Enoch Allen; her grandson Nathan Arndt; her siblings, Lythel Mims, Michael Mims Mims (Leite), Erica Mims, Malcolm Mims, Henrietta Cubbage, Henry Mims, Lemuel Mims, Latha Mims, Phillip Mims (Michelle) and Virgil Mims; and her daughter Vanessa (Chris Bussonnais). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family members.
