Richard V. O'Neill Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard V. O'Neill of Utica, New York, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. O'Neill and Hilda E. O'Neill; his siblings, Mary Carmel and Michael O'Neill (Stewie); and his nephews, Michael (Stephanie Stack) and Patrick (Missy O'Neill).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Arlene O'Neill; and his nieces, Barbara Gilman, Elizabeth Smalt, Eileen Kralik, Noreen Schoonmaker and Karen Covell.
With the closing of St. George, Fr. O'Neill, and his dog Ben, moved into his own home and he continued to assist Fr. Dellos at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church, until the closing of churches in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
