He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stemmer and Antoinette Stemmer (Bouse); his brother Donald Stemmer; his grandson Matthew Stemmer; and his sister-in-law Eileen Zogby.
He is survived by: his wife Selwa Zogby; his children, Joseph Stemmer, Sarah Schmidt (Michael), Daniel Stemmer (April), Mark Stemmer (Melissa), Andrew Stemmer (Grace) and Paul Stemmer (Porscha); his grandchildren, Veronica, John, Kateri Jeffrey (Kyle), Elijah, Joshua, Gabriel and Charles; his great grandchild Annaraya; his brother Robert; his siblings-in-law, Pauline Stemmer of Utica, James Zogby, John and Kathleen Zogby; and his friend Joe Corelli. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
