Richard J. LaNeve Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. LaNeve Sr. (Utica, New York), who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George S. Sr. LaNeve; his siblings, Mary Ann LaNeve Devendorf, George S. LaNeve, Jr. and Michael F. "Mike" LaNeve; and his parents-in-law, Peter F. and RoseMarie DeSarro (Barella).
He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" LaNeve, Jr. and Margaret "Margie"; his son-in-law Michael Hammell; his cousin Marie Robilotto; his parents-in-law, Glenn, Lynn Devendorf, Pat Debbold, John F. and Katherine "Kathy" DeSarro; and his friends, Tom, Roseanne Gerace, Leah and Jim Patterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, godchildren, and cousins.
Rick also enjoyed the many charity events run by their staff, including participating on the MetLife Team for the America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk, which also became a fun family affair.
