He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kohlbrenner and Klara Kohlbrenner (Zah). He is survived by: his wife Patti; his sons, Rainer Kohlbrenner Jr. of Utica and Michael (Nicole Kohlbrenner) of Utica; his grandchildren, Andrew, Raina and Sophie Kohlbrenner; his sisters, Elvera Estright of New Hartford and Helga (Harry Morrison) of Westmoreland; his mother-in-law Theresa Antone of Utica; his daughter-in-law Kristy Kohlbrenner; and his siblings-in-law, Tony, Gina Antone, Ralph and Gwen Antone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
