He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Cappelli and Lucia Cappelli (Cardillo-Tremarelli); his son John Cappelli; and his siblings, Rosina and Michele.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Immacolata Razzino; his sons, Mike (Carmine Cappelli), Mario Cappelli and Frank (Mary Beth Cappelli); his grandchildren, John, Kristin Cappelli, Joseph Cappelli, Adriana, Phil Eanniello, Stephanie Cappelli (Chris Welsh) and Jessica Cappelli; his great grandchildren, Anthony and Carter Cappelli; and his sisters, Clementina, Sr., Maria Raffaella Cappelli, S. F., Amelia and Ida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
