She was predeceased by: her parents, John Filipczuk and Pauline Filipczuk (Hart); her son James; and her siblings, Lorraine Slater, Philip and Donald.
She is survived by: her close friend Mike Spellman of Ilion; her children, Louie Ruggerio Jr. of Florida, Robert Ruggerio (Erin) of Little Falls, Edward Ruggerio (Stacey), Paula Ruggerio (Tim Smith), Kim Ciaccia (Larry) of Frankfort, Pam Cancelino (John) of Herkimer, Debbie Ruggerio-Donahue of Ilion and Sheila Burke (Scot) of Newport; and her brothers, John of Herkimer, Dennis of Frankfort and Gary Filipczuk of Okinawa. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
