He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Scarfo and Alice Scarfo (Marino); and his niece Frances Lee. He is survived by: his brother-in-law George Pavese; his nieces and nephews, Anthony "Scarf" Scarfo, Donna Cardillo (late Victor F. Cardillo), Joanne French, Pamela Pavese, Karen Pavese, Alice M. Barone (late Louis W. Barone), Grace A. Didio, Carol A. Didio, Phyllis M., David Van Scooter, Rose Ann, Anthony M. Clemente, Frank J. Audino, Jr., Sharon Nassar, Patricia, Anthony Lupia and Sandra Moracco; and also, Dr. Lori Caruso and Michael Caruso. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
