With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paula McRorie of Utica, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She is survived by: her parents, Edward Sr. Szczygiel of Virginia and Connie Szczygiel (Aceto); her siblings, Chuck McRorie of Syracuse, Tony McRorie (Kelly Rossi) of Verona Beach, Joanne Alberico (Joe) of Virginia, Ronnie Aceto (Deneen) of Tennessee, Kimberly Studebaker (Andrew) of Virginia, Eddy Szczygiel Jr. (Sarah) of Chadwicks, Vanessa McRorie of Utica and Kevin McRorie of Utica; her sister-in-law Mary McRorie of Ohio; her friend Nay Maddox; her aunt Carol Aceto; and her pets, Blaze, Auqa, Jaxson and Dominick. She is also survived by extended family includes many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matt Funeral Home (700 Rutger St, Utica, NY 13501). An entombment was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Chapel (1500 Champlin Ave, Yorkville, NY 13495).
