With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Palma Marie (Palmisano) Percola of Utica, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonardo Palmisano and Mary Palmisano (Maida); and her son-in-law Jim DePastene. She is survived by: her children, Laura, Dave Battelene, Kim DePastene, Michael Percola, Maryrose, Scott Tucker and Angela Percola; her grandchildren, Amber (Bryan Preston), Tiffany (Zach DeLuca), Christopher DePastene (Lesley Smith), Dr. Alexandra DePastene, Alyssa (Josh True) and Nicholas Percola; her great grandchildren, Alex, Bella, Emily Rose Preston, Elliot, Anderson DeLuca, Salvatore and Luciano True; her great great grandchild Lilith Preston; her sister-in-law Mary Percola; her sister Rosemary; her brother-in-law Robert Paciello; her in-laws, Catherine Percola and Valentino Percola (Wally); and her cousins, Elizabeth "Betty" Alsheimer and Rose Madia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and cousins, including her family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. (932 South St, Utica, NY 13501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Historic Old St. John's Church (240 Bleecker St, Utica, NY 13501).
In lieu of floral offerings, memorial contributions in Palma's honor may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., which Palma always supported in her mother's memory. Donations can be made online at https://hospicecareinc.org; envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
