It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ollie Mae Pearson (Utica, New York), born in Clayton, Alabama, who passed away on February 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Jackson and Carrie Jackson; and her siblings, Joel Jackson, Major Jackson, Henry Jackson, James Smith, Aleen Jackson and Dorothy Bass.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Frank Pearson, Sr.; her children, Rose Simmons (Stanley), Morris Pearson, Robbie Hill (Matthew), Robert Frank Pearson, Jr. (Brandy), Rodney Darell (Alycia) and Allita Pearson; her sister Ida Mae Williams; her son Steve Pearson; her grandchildren, Genese Simmons, Jeremy Simmons, Kristina Hill, Kamryn Hill, Giovanni Pearson, Robert Pearson III, Trevaughn Pearson, TaShawn Pearson, Armani, Iyanna Pearson and Rodney Pearson, Jr.; her great grandchild Alana Calloway; her nephew Stanley; her niece Rebecca Sykes; and her brother-in-law Lemon Pearson (Lula Ba). She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
