He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Nelson and Helen Nelson (Bills); his parents-in-law, William and Veronica Ward (Quenell); and also, Carl Ward, Gerald Ward, Charlie, Jacqueline Ward, Richard, Jenny Ward, Robert, Joan Ward, Bradley and Linda Ward.
He is survived by: his brother Raymond Nelson (Patricia "Patty" Nelson); his wife Janice Nelson; his children, Michael (Diane Nelson), Kelly Feldt (late Brian J. Feldt), Tracy (Sean Galimo), Tammy LeFever and Philip Nelson; his grandchildren, Michael Jr., Jenna Nelson, Kayla Nelson-Batch, Brandon Batch, Timothy Feldt, Michael, Colleen LeFever, Bradley Feldt, Marissa LeFever-Young, Alexa Galimo and Andrew Galimo; his great grandchildren, Matthew Nelson, Cassidy Nelson, Felicity Hubalek, Sydney Young, Sierra LeFever, Hannah Batch and Gianni Mungo; his sister Norma Picente (late George A. Picente); his sister-in-law Rose Nelson (late Ronald Nelson, Sr.); his brothers, Robert (Evelyn Nelson) and Wesley "Wes" (Martha Nelson); his sisters-in-law, Eva Ward, Margaret Ward (late Donald Ward), Nancy Ward (late Bruce Ward) and Barbara Ward; and his close friends, Ray, Gus and Mike.
