Michael Geno Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Geno of Utica, New York, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Louie" Sr. and Virginia "Ellen" Geno (Elacqua); his brother Louis J. Geno; his half-brother Louis Velardi; his nieces and nephews, Ron LaDue, Louie John, Michael, Anna-Marie and Angie; his parents-in-law, Mariana Geno, Marianne, Frank Montecavo, Judy, Robert Foxenberg, Carl Bechtold, John and Caroline Harp; his sister-in-law Carol Bechtold; and his close friends, Anthony Balio and Gary "Juice" Velletto.

He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Harp; his sons, Bryan, Sean and Michael; his grandson Alex; his siblings, Teresa A. LaDue (Geno), Sammy Altieri, John Doti, Billy Stamboly, Mark Bruzzese, Rodney Baker, Johnny Orsaio and Rob Esche; and also, John, Restaurant and Beverly Esche.

During the pandemic, he sheltered at home, and when he returned to work last week, his demeanor was relaxed and seemingly filled with life, and … the end of his life came too soon, too unexpectedly, and too unavoidably, ——K-Babe.
